Description
The bridge over the Red River, located at SW 500354, is a road bridge built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble and dressed granite. The bridge features two spans and has a square cutwater on the upstream side. It is a simple design with granite lintels that span the river, and the parapets are topped with low, roughly-hewn plinths that support an iron handrail. The handrails are secured into square terminal piers, which have two iron stanchions positioned over the plinths.
