Description

Ninnis Farmhouse is a circa mid-19th century farmhouse. The front is constructed of dressed coursed granite with granite dressings, while the remainder of the building is rubble. It has a hipped roof covered with grouted scantle slates, featuring projecting eaves. Brick chimneys are situated over the side walls. The farmhouse follows a double-depth plan, comprising two equal rooms at the front, separated by a cross passage leading to a central stair hall, and flanked by shallower rear service rooms. The east front is symmetrical, with three windows and a central doorway. The original four-panel door retains its overlight, and original hornless 12-pane sashes are present. The interior was not inspected.
