Description
Nos 3 and 5 on Middle Street in Padstow are a pair of houses built around the early 19th century. They are constructed from stone rubble and feature a slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks. The layout likely consists of two rooms with a double depth plan, heated by the end stacks and accessed through central entrances.
The houses are two stories tall with an attic and have a symmetrical front with four windows. The early 19th-century hornless 12-pane sash windows are set beneath brick segmental arches. The entrance is marked by a pair of 19th-century four-panel doors, which are flanked by sash windows, with four additional sashes located above. There are also two full gabled dormers that contain four-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
