Description

A pair of houses dating from around the early 19th century, located on the north side of Cross Street, Padstow. The houses are constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof, featuring gable ends and brick end stacks. The original layout comprised two rooms per house, arranged in a double-depth plan, with central entrance hallways and heating provided by the end stacks. The exterior presents a complete early 19th-century appearance with 12-pane hornless sash windows. There are two 20th-century doors set within 19th-century doorcases that include corbelled brackets and truncated jambs. The ground floor has a single sash window to the left and right, alongside four sashes on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
