Description
This is a house dating to the early 19th century, located on the north side of Cross Street in Padstow. The exterior is built of stone rubble with an asbestos slate roof and gable ends. A brick chimney stack is located on the left end.
The house follows a two-room, double-depth plan. The main room is on the front left and contains an end stack for heating. The entrance is to the right of centre, with a separate door leading to an alley at the rear of the house.
The three-storey front has a regular two-window arrangement, featuring four-pane sash windows on each floor. A 19th-century six-panel door is positioned to the right of centre, and there’s an entrance through to the alley on the right, surrounded by a moulded 19th-century frame. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
