Description

This is a house dating from around the mid-19th century, located on the south side of Cross Street in Padstow. The exterior is constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gable ends. A brick axial stack is situated to the left, and a front slope stack, likely shared with the adjacent property at No. 9 Cross Street, is prominent.

The house is arranged with a two-room double-depth plan, featuring an entrance on the right, likely leading to a corridor with a staircase at the rear. From the front, it presents a regular two-window façade. A 20th-century window is visible on the left at basement level. A 19th-century door is positioned on the right, and potentially a 19th-century two-light casement window is on the left, both set within brick segmental arches. Two replacement 12-pane horned sash windows are on the first floor. The interior of the house was not inspected.
