Description
St Saviours is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring half hipped ends. The building has a double depth plan with a central entrance, consisting of two main rooms at the front heated by end stacks, and shallow service rooms at the rear. There is a small 19th-century lean-to outhouse on the right-hand gable end.
The exterior is two storeys high and features an almost symmetrical three-window front. The openings have flat brick arches with keystones. The central entrance has a 19th-century panelled door set in a round arched opening, accompanied by a 19th-century open trellis work porch. The ground floor includes a 12-pane sash window on the right, which is horned, and an early 19th-century sash window on the left. The first floor has three early 19th-century 12-pane sashes. Additionally, there is a single-storey lean-to extension on the right-hand gable end, which is slate hung and has a slate roof. The interior has not been inspected.
