Description

This is a house, likely dating to the mid-18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with some parts slate-hung, and has a slate roof with half-hipped ends and brick end stacks. The original layout was a two-room plan with a central entrance, heated by end stacks, and a service wing to the rear left. A one-room extension was added around the early to mid-19th century to the right-hand end, along with service outbuildings to the rear.

The front of the house presents a symmetrical appearance with a three-window arrangement to the left and a two-window extension on the right. The main part has a panelled 19th-century door flanked by two hornless 12-pane sashes. There are three further hornless 12-pane sashes on the first floor. The extension to the right has a door on the ground floor and two 12-pane hornless sashes on the first floor. The right-hand side elevation, facing the road, remains unaltered with hornless 12-pane sashes. The interior was not inspected.
