Description
Mayflower Antiques is a shop with accommodation above, likely originally a private house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble with a rendered plinth and features a slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick end stack on the left side.
The plan is a double depth layout heated by end stacks, with a central front entrance leading into two principal rooms at the front and two smaller service rooms at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high and has an almost symmetrical three-window front, showcasing complete early 19th century 12-pane sash windows. The central entrance features a 19th century four-panel door within a 19th century doorcase, flanked by two sashes. On the first floor, there are two sashes and a central blind window. The interior has not been inspected.
