Description

Numbers 5 and 6, including the service block 4 metres to the north, are a pair of attached houses built around the 1870s. They feature a ground floor made of pennant rubble and a first floor that is tile-hung, with brick ridge stacks and a tiled roof. The houses are designed in a Domestic Revival style and have a double-depth plan. Each house is two storeys high and has a two-window range. They both have a central door with a small tiled canopy. The ground-floor windows have rounded rubble cills and mullions, with two lights on the outer sides and three lights towards the middle. Above the doors, there are paired three-light mullion windows that rise to form a shallow dormer. At the rear, there is a shallow corbelled central oriel. The interior has not been inspected.
