Description

The Grange is an early 19th-century house located on Stoke Hill in Stoke Bishop, Bristol. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with end stacks, and has a roof that is not visible. The house follows a double-depth plan and is in a late Georgian style. The two-storey, three-window front is symmetrical and features pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet. The ground floor has three elliptical-arched recesses linked by impost bands; these contain French windows. The first floor has six-pane sashes. The doorway in the left-hand gable has a rectangular overlight with decorative glazing bars and a six-panel door. The interior of the house was not inspected.
