Description

This is an 18th-century shop with living accommodation above, built as part of a terrace. The construction is painted limestone ashlar with a slate roof and truncated stacks along the party walls. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window front. It features a coped parapet, a stopped cornice, and sash windows with six panes to the upper floors. A platband sits above a bressumer on the ground floor. A 20th-century door, set back to the left, provides access to the flat above. A former carriage entrance on the right has been incorporated into a recessed shop front, with a central shop window featuring turned colonnettes and four semicircular arched panes, likely dating to the 20th century. The interior, which has been extensively altered and is now occupied by a health food shop, was not inspected.
