Description

This is a late 18th-century shop with living accommodation above, located on the east side of Broad Street. The building is constructed of limestone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It has a narrow, double-depth plan with a staircase at the rear.

The exterior is three storeys and an attic in width. The ground floor features an early to mid-19th century bowed shopfront, with a house entrance to the left and a shop entrance to the right. The first floor has four-pane sash windows with horns in plain reveals. The second floor has two-pane sash windows. A cornice is present, topped by a parapet that incorporates a cut-out for a flat-topped six-pane dormer window. The building has a Mansard roof with a tall, shared ashlar chimney stack on the right. The rear elevation is not visible. The interior has not been inspected.
