Description
Crab Hill Farm House is a late 16th century house with 18th century extensions and additions. It features a timber frame, which has been covered with roughcast infill on the ground floor. Above this, the house is tile hung, and it has a plain tiled roof with an end stack to the left, a rear ridge stack to the left of center, and a rear stack. The building has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high on the left side, with two storeys and an attic in the gable of the bay set back on the right end. The first floor tiling drops down to meet the ground floor windows on the left. There are three three-light leaded casement windows across the first floor. A ribbed door is located to the left of center, sheltered by a flat hood supported on braces. At the rear, there is a catslide extension to the roof, along with a gabled outshot to the rear right. The interior has seen little alteration, with some framing visible.
