Description
Ridge Green Farm House is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with a front added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a stone plinth, with red and blue brick cladding. The roof is plain tiled and half hipped to the left, with a ridge stack positioned to the left of center and two end stacks on a pent roof extension. The house has two storeys and an attic, which is highlighted by a gabled casement dormer in the center.
On the first floor, there are four windows; the center window is a metal casement, while the other three are glazing bar sashes. The ground floor also has glazing bar sash windows, which are a mix of 18th and 19th century styles, all set under brick relieving arches. To the left of center, there is a part-glazed door beneath a cambered head. The left end features a pent roof extension, and the right-hand return front has a wing that is at right angles to the main front, with its framing exposed.
