Description
No. 3 Park Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed squared rubble and features timber lintels, a stone slate roof with clay ridge tiles, and a gable end chimney on the left that has been rebuilt in brick. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range of large-paned sash windows. A pair of three-light horned sashes flank a 20th-century half-glazed door. On the left gable wall, there are traces of an earlier single-storey building, with a small attic casement located beside the chimney. Inside, there is a residual inglenook fireplace. The mid to late 19th-century alterations have been made in a way that respects the proportions of the original 18th-century building.
