Description
No. 1 Park Street is a house, now divided into two, with a date stone indicating it was built in 1666, although it has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed from coursed squared rubble with timber lintels and features a stone slate roof. It has an L-shaped plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century panelled door to the left of the center, flanked by two 20th-century cross-casement windows on either side. The first-floor windows are 19th-century large-paned sashes with horns. There are two gabled dormers that contain casements with glazed sides. The side elevation facing the churchyard has irregular fenestration, which includes a three-light casement under a stop-chamfered lintel and a 16-pane sash window.
