Description
Baileys is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and features a symmetrical three-window range. It includes two projecting 20th-century windows, each with a pair of glazing bar sashes, which flank a six-panelled door (two panels glazed) set within a painted stone architrave that has a keystone, topped by a simple hood supported on consoles. The first and second-floor windows also have sashes with glazing bars, framed by stone architraves with keyblocks. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs along the top, and there are two lead rainwater heads and downpipes, with the lower parts made of cast iron. A central hipped dormer has glazed sides and wooden casements. The interior has not been inspected.
