Description

Minster Cottage is an early 19th-century building originally a terrace of three cottages, now combined into a single house. It is situated on the north side of Church Street, Charlbury. The construction is of coursed squared rubble with a stone slate roof. Windows are casements with timber lintels. The facade has a six-window range, with a 20th-century gabled porch sheltering the door at the right end. Five rendered gabled dormers light the attic, which sits above a cellar. A stone parapet is present on the left gable, facing the Church of St Mary. The building is included on the list for its group value.
