Description
Myrtle Cottage and Plum Tree Cottage is a house that dates from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared rubble with timber lintels and has chimneys finished in brick. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features a two-window range.
To the left of the centre, there is a broad half-glazed door for Myrtle Cottage, while a smaller entry for Plum Tree Cottage is located to the right. Each door is accompanied by a 19th-century bay window, all of which are covered by a continuous stepped hood. The first-floor windows are fitted with 16-pane sashes, and there are two low-level gabled dormers that contain sashes with glazing bars set in wooden architraves. The interior has not been inspected.
