Description
No. 15 Church Street is a house that dates from the late 17th century at the rear and early to mid-19th century for the rest of the structure. It is built from coursed limestone rubble with a plinth made of Ham Hill stone. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features stepped stone coping, along with the base of a finial on the left gable end and a brick stack on the right party wall. The house has a double-depth plan and consists of two storeys with a one-window range. Both windows are 20th-century horned 2/2-pane sashes set under flat gauged brick arches. The entrance features a six-panel door that is glazed at the top, with raised-and-fielded panels in the centre and flat panels below. At the rear, the roof is made of pantiles with stone slates on the lower courses, and there is a painted three-light stone-mullioned window on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
