Description
No. 17 Church Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared limestone with a Ham Hill stone plinth, topped by a plain tile roof and featuring a brick stack on the left party wall. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a one-window range. Both windows are set under flat gauged stone arches and have 20th-century plastic frames. To the left, there is a six-panel door from the 1980s, while to the right is another six-panel door that serves as the entrance to No. 19. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
