Description
No. 24 Church Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with a Ham Hill stone plinth, featuring stepped stone coping on the left gable end and brick stacks on both gables. The house has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high, with a symmetrical two-window arrangement. All the windows, which are set under wooden lintels, are three-light casements, except for the two-light window on the first floor to the right; the first-floor windows are positioned at eaves level. There is a wooden lintel above a 20th-century door. The interior has been altered, but some slightly chamfered beams remain.
