Farmhouse. Early C17, later C17 and C20 alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble; gabled old tile roof; rendered ridge stack finished in brick, stone lateral stack to rear right. 3-unit cross-passage plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Timber lintel over C20 door with C20 porch. C20 timber lintels over C20 windows except 3-light leaded casement to right and similar 4-light casement to centre of first floor. Roof dormer has C20 casement. Later outshut and one-bay wing flank C17 stair-turret with 2-light leaded casement: all of similar materials. Interior: stack backs onto cross passage. Noted as having old beams, open fireplace, plank doors.
