Description
Plentys is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers in Flemish bond at the center, with re-used brick on the ground floor to the right and 19th-century brick on the first floor to the left. The first floor to the right has timber-framing with brick infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there are brick stacks at both ends, along with a ridge stack located to the left of center. The building has a two-storey, three-window range with irregularly placed casement windows. At the rear, there is a 20th-century door to the left, and some areas of timber-framing are visible. A dentil brick course is present at the eaves, and there is a queen-post roof truss in the right return gable end. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
