Description
St. Michaels is a house dating from the early 18th century, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is built of red brick with random flared headers in Flemish bond and has an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped to the right. The house features a brick ridge stack located to the left of center and an end stack on the right. It is two stories high with a three-window range. To the right of center, there is a six-panel part-glazed door topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. The ground floor center has a 20th-century four-light casement window in an original segmental-headed opening. To the left on the ground floor, there is a three-light casement with leaded lights and a segmental brick head. The right side of the first floor has a 16-pane unhorned sash window with a wooden lintel. A brick dentil course runs along the eaves. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
