Description
Carramores is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with an 18th-century section on the right that likely encases the earlier structure. The building features large timber framing with rendered infill on the left and center, and it has braces at the first floor center. The right side is constructed of painted brick. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and is half-hipped on the left side, with brick stacks at both ends and a brick ridge stack to the right of center. It is probably originally a hall house and is two stories tall with a four-window range. There is a four-panel part-glazed door to the right of center, which has a 20th-century hood. The windows have irregular placements and consist of casements with leaded lights. The interior has not been inspected.
