Description
This is a house located in Blewbury, dating to probably the early 18th century, with a brick front added in 1799 as indicated by the date above the front door. It is likely built upon an earlier structure. The front is red brick in Flemish bond, with flared brick headers. The brick to the left has been painted and displays fragmentary timber framing. The roof is of old plain tiles, with a brick end stack to the right and one ridge stack to the left of centre. The house is two storeys high, with a three-window front. A plank front door is located to the left of centre, with a segmental brick arch above. Ground-floor windows consist of a three-light wooden casement to the left of centre, a three-light wooden casement to the right (both with segmental brick heads), and a 20th-century two-light casement to the left. The first floor has a three-light wooden casement to the left of centre, a three-light wooden casement to the right, and a two-light casement to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
