Description

Blue Haze is a house dating from the 16th century. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the left side features some large timber-framing. The first floor has large timber-framing with a mid-rail, arched braces, and painted brick infill. The roof is thatched, hipped, with a catslide on the left end. There are brick stacks at the right end, on the ridge to the left, and another to the left of center. The house is two stories high and has a six-window range that is set at right angles to the street. A 20th-century ribbed door is located to the right of center. The windows have irregular spacing, mostly consisting of two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest, possibly originally serving as a hall house.
