This cottage, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 200 meters east of Northbrook Farmhouse. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Stonesfield-slate roof and a brick end stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The symmetrical front has two windows and a central doorway that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. Flanking the doorway are two-light casements on both floors. The roof is hipped, and there is a small 20th-century outshut to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
