Description
Church Cottage is an 18th-century cottage built of coursed limestone rubble with a thatched roof and brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The entrance front faces south and features a 20th-century door to the right of center, which has a wooden lintel and is sheltered by a 20th-century timber gabled porch. To the left of the door is a small one-light window, and there are two-light casement windows on the ground floor to the left and right, all with wooden lintels. At the rear, there are older two-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors; the ground floor windows have red brick jambs, while the first-floor windows are set in eyebrow dormers, all with wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
