Description

This is an 18th-century house, altered in later periods, situated as part of a row on Nethercote Road. The exterior is of coursed squared limestone rubble, with a 20th-century cement tile roof and a brick end stack. The house follows a two-unit plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The front façade has a two-window range. A 20th-century door is centrally positioned. On the ground floor are cross-glazed casement windows: one of two lights to the left, and a larger window to the right with three lights. Both have painted wood lintels. The first floor has a central window composed of two 20th-century cross-windows, incorporating a large, old, painted wood central mullion and a chamfered lintel. A small roof dormer features two cross-glazed lights. The interior of the house was not inspected. The property is included on the heritage register due to its group value.
