Description
Nos. 23 and 25, known as Coffee Lodge, are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from regularly coursed limestone and feature a 20th-century cement tile roof with a brick stack at the end. The buildings have a double-depth plan and rise two storeys high, with a three-window range. The front is designed to appear as a single house, featuring a central plank door that leads to a passage. No. 23, on the left, has a late 19th-century plain shop front with an altered door. No. 25 includes a three-light casement window with horizontal glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two-light casements with various glazing bars. Stone flat arches with keystones are present throughout the structure. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value.
