Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the north-west side of High Street in Ketton. It is constructed of rubble stone with a front facing of coursed squared stone, and has a roof of Collyweston stone slate with stone end stacks. The cottage is one storey high with attic space. It has two window bays, with a central door featuring a blind rectangular fanlight containing glazing bars, and a hood supported by iron brackets. Flanking the door are 8/8 sash windows, each with a keystone. There are two gabled dormers in the roof, also with glazing bars. A rear outshut and a gabled wing extend from the main block, with the ridge of the main block marked by a finial, likely dating to the 20th century.
