Description

No. 2 Redmiles Lane is a house dated 1699, constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a Collyweston stone slate roof with parapeted gables and stone end stacks. The building is 1½-storeys tall and two windows wide. The central door is set within a moulded stone architrave and is flanked by three-light casement windows, with a small 20th-century window to the right. There are two flat-roofed dormer windows with ovolo-moulded stone mullions that slightly break through the eaves. A datestone with a cornice inscribed "F B 1699" is present on the building. Additionally, there is a lean-to addition on the right side.
