Description

Nos 6 and 8 Chapel Lane are two cottages that were originally built in the 18th century and later extended to form a row of three, now functioning as two separate dwellings. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with a squared stone front and feature a Collyweston stone slate roof. The original cottage has stone end stacks, while the eastern end of the row includes two stone stacks with brick shafts positioned correspondingly. The buildings are two storeys high. On the first floor, there are four 19th-century three-light casement windows with cills. The ground floor features four similar windows that alternate with doors.
