Description

Number 23 on Church Road is a 19th-century cottage constructed of coursed rubble and squared stone, topped with a Collyweston stone slate roof, featuring stone ridge and a right-hand end stack. The building has one storey and an attic. The entrance door is located to the left, followed by a window with a cambered head, then a two-light window with a cill and timber lintel. There is a projecting lean-to addition with a gabled dormer above it. To the right of this addition, there is another two-light window, and finally, a single-light window set in a stone architrave at eaves level. The cottage is included for its group value.
