Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a stone stack on the left end. The building has two storeys and an attic, presenting a symmetrical three-window range. A canted stone slate hood and timber lintel are positioned above a late 17th-century studded door, which is set in a heavy pegged frame. The cottage has timber lintels over 20th-century two-light casements and a 20th-century roof dormer. Inside, there are plain beads along with some 20th-century alterations.
