Description

Manor Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse located in Hampton by and Pole Hampton. The main structure is built of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled concrete tile roof, and features stone end stacks with 17th-century brick flues. A large stone external stack is positioned at the front of the service wing. The building has an L-shaped design, with the service wing projecting to the front left.

The farmhouse is two storeys and an attic, presenting a symmetrical three-window front with triple gables. A late 19th-century timber porch sits under a gabled stone slate roof. A timber lintel covers a 20th-century entrance door. The windows on the front are mostly 19th-century three-light casements with iron opening lights, all with timber lintels. A widened 4-light window to the left of the door has a concrete lintel, and 20th-century dormer casements are visible in the roof, also with timber lintels. A three-storey, one-bay wing extends to the rear. The interior remains uninspected but is likely to contain features of interest.
