Description
Thatch Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with a brick chimney stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. There are chamfered timber lintels above a central 20th-century door and a late 19th-century two-light casement window with glazing bars to the right. To the left, there is another late 19th-century similar casement with a timber lintel, and a late 19th-century two-light dormer casement is located in the roof. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
