Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 17th and early 18th century farmhouse, refronted around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a rendered front, and has a gabled stone slate roof. The farmhouse has external end stacks finished in brick. The building follows an L-shaped layout, with a rear right wing. It is two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-window front. The main entrance features a 19th-century six-panelled door with a fanlight and a stone hood supported by brackets. The windows are early 19th-century eight-pane sashes, and there are two gabled roof dormers with 20th-century casements. A one-storey early 19th-century service range, built of similar materials and with a rendered end stack, extends to the right. The rear of the farmhouse includes an early 18th-century range, constructed of similar materials, which is two storeys and two windows wide. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
