Description
Bleinheim Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, built of squared coursed ironstone. It features a steeply pitched thatched roof and a brick ridge stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. The entrance is off-centre to the left and has a renewed plank door set in a moulded wood frame, topped by a 20th-century gabled hood. To the right of the entrance, there are two wood mullioned windows: a three-light window and a four-light window, both with small opening casements. The attic includes three similar two- and three-light windows, which have lead cames, crown glass, and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The interior has not been inspected.
