Description
Pool Farmhouse is a building that originated as two cottages in the mid-18th century and has since been converted into one house. It features a mix of coursed and uncoursed ironstone rubble and is topped with thatched roofs. The structure has a distinctive L-shape, with the range facing the village. The entrance, located on the right, has a renewed door and a thatched hood above it. To the left, there are three renewed 20th-century windows with wooden lintels. The building also includes three renewed 20th-century half-dormers, also with wooden lintels. The rear range has three windows and is thatched, with renewed windows. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to contain an inglenook and beams. The farmhouse is included in the register for its group value.
