WROXTON MILLS LANE SP4040-4140 (West side) 10/248 Pool Farmhouse 08/12/55 (Formerly listed as Pair of cottages approx. 25yds E of Pool Cottage) GV II 2 cottages now one house. Mid C18 with later alterations. Coursed and uncoursed ironstone rubble. Thatched roofs. Moulded stone ridge and end stacks. L-plan altogether. Range facing village panel. Entrance on right has renewed door and thatched hood. 3 renewed C20 windows with wood lintels to left. 3 renewed C20 half-dormers with wood lintels. 3-window rear range, thatched with renewed windows. Interior said to have inglenook and beams. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
