Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a raised 20th-century tile roof. It features a brick end stack on a stone base and a rebuilt stone end stack. The cottage has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high, with a three-window range. The entrance is located off-centre to the left and consists of a fielded four-panel door set in a moulded wood frame with a painted wood lintel above. To the left of the entrance, there is a three-light metal casement window in a wood frame, and to the right, a fixed two-light window. On the far right, another three-light metal casement window in a wood frame is present, all featuring wood lintels. The attic includes two two-light and one three-light metal casement windows in wood frames, with wrought-iron casement fasteners and painted wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
