Description
Woodcote is a building that dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century, originally three cottages now converted into a house. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features steeply pitched, raised thatched roofs. The building has stone end and ridge stacks, which have been partly rebuilt, and is designed in an L-plan.
The structure is two storeys high and has a three-window range facing the lane. The entrance is located in the angle between the two sections of the building, featuring a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel and a thatched hood. There are three blocked openings with wooden lintels, along with a 20th-century window positioned above the door. The ground floor elevation facing the lane includes five renewed windows with wooden lintels. On the first floor, there are two three-light metal casements set in wooden frames with wooden lintels, along with another 20th-century window with a wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
