Description
Ivy Cottage is a building that dates from the 18th century and was originally two cottages, now converted into a single house. It is constructed from regularly coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof. The left cottage has a three-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic, with a 20th-century extension to the right. There is a rustic porch to the left of the extension, a six-panelled door with four glazed lights, a sash window to the left, and two windows in the attic. The right cottage has a two-unit plan and is also a single storey plus attic. Its central door has a wooden lintel and is flanked by two sash windows, with two similar windows in the attic. The rear of the building mostly has 20th-century windows, including one metal window with lead cames. The interior has not been inspected.
