Description

No. 43 High Street is a house, likely built in the early 18th century. It features regular coursed ironstone rubble and a plain tile roof, with two rendered brick end stacks. The central original plank door is framed by a moulded wood surround within a gabled stone porch that is dated EB/1932. On either side of the porch are three-light casement windows, and there are two additional three-light casements in the attic. Inside, there are stone steps leading to the cellar, chamfered beams, a wooden winder stair, plank doors, and stone flags.
