Description
Oriel Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century additions. It is constructed from squared, coursed ironstone and features a slate roof with stone ridge and end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, plus attics, with a two-window range. The entrance is located off-centre to the right and consists of a plank door. On the ground floor, there is a wood casement window with a renewed hood mould and label stop. The first floor has two three-light wood casement windows, each with wood lintels and a renewed hood mould and label stop on the right. The 19th-century outbuildings to the right are not of special architectural interest. The interior has not been inspected.
