Description
Nursery Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, clad in the 18th century, with a late 20th-century extension. It features a timber frame and is tile hung on the first floor, with painted brick on the ground floor and a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof, with the eaves line raised on the right side. There is a central stack and an additional stack at the rear left. The first floor has four wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has five, along with an outshut to the left. A ribbed 20th-century door is located to the centre right, and there is a late 20th-century extension on the right end bay. Inside, the farmhouse has a full framed interior, featuring a large worked sandstone stack and a later 18th-century brick inglenook.
