Description
Evanden Farmhouse is a house dated 1831, located on Goudhurst Church Road in Kilndown. It features red and blue chequered brick on the ground floor and is tile hung on the first floor, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, set on a plinth, and has a dogtooth cornice at the first floor level. The roof is hipped, with chimney stacks at both the right and left ends. The windows are regularly arranged, consisting of two 2-light wooden casements on each floor. The central entrance has a boarded door set in a round-headed stone doorway, which is topped with a raking hood. To the right of the doorway is a shield-shaped datestone.
